Welcome Nurse, Billie Gammell to our health room. Mrs.Gammell has had three years of school nursing. Prior, she was a critical care nurse in a hospital setting. April has arrived and brought along some April showers this morning! In addition to being known as a rainy month, April is also National Poetry Month. At Hillcrest, I like to celebrate National Poetry Month by sharing short poems with our students as part of the Morning Message that I post in our All Purpose Room. This was our first week in our Mask Optional model and I am pleased to report that our students have been so kind, polite and respectful regarding each person’s mask-wearing decisions. Thank you for your support in encouraging a community of care and respect.

Report Cards
Report cards and progress notes are being sent home in backpacks today. What a great time to review the successes with your child(ren) and the effort they are putting into their “work” day. Double report cards were also mailed today.
