It’s hard to believe we’re here, but this is the last newsletter of the year school year. Though short, June is jam packed with activities and fun. Please make sure to check the dates below for important events:
June 1st- Movie Night and all-school camp out! Starts at 5:30
June 3rd- 2:30 Special “Clean the Grounds” event put on by 4th grade students.
June 6th- Field Day at Camp Kee-wanee
June 7th- Final All-School Meeting and end-of-year celebration

This morning students attended a fire safety assembly with Firefighter Phil. Ms. White’s class attended a field trip to the Discovery Center.
Friday, May 31 the fifth grade will be attending a field trip to Old Deerfield.
We have Field Day on Wednesday, June 5th for grades 2 and 3, and June 7th for grades 4 and 5. A permission slip is also going home today that has to be returned in order to attend and so we know your child’s comfort level in the pool. Wow! Our 8th grade Introduction to World Language students made cartoons that demonstrated their learning of Russian greetings and the Cyrillic Alphabet. They had to make a cartoon where at least 2 people/animals/things greet each other, give names, ask how the other is doing, and say goodbye, with all of the dialogue written in Russian.
