Happy Friday from Gill Elementary School!

Thank you everyone who came to our Evening of Dialogue last Friday. It was a fantastic event, and well attended! We had a chance to talk about challenges, and our experiences as parents. We intend to do more of these evenings throughout the rest of the year, with more targeted topics such as puberty and our kids, and dealing with cliques and conflict.

This week, the 6th grade has orchestrated “Penny Wars!” So thank you to everyone who has sent in change and bills to aid your kids in their quest for a pizza party. While there will be only one class who claims victory for the party, we are all winners in this fundraising effort. As of yesterday afternoon, there had been over $730 raised. Given what we saw this morning, it is possible that that number could be close to doubled by the final count.
