As the GMRSD Family Engagement Coordinator, I try hard to make sure that our families have access to the resources they need. I’m pleased to announce the opening of our Virtual Family Resource Center!!!! In this series of virtual “rooms”, you’ll find links to both local and online resources for everything from parenting information to mental health to social emotional learning, which is one of our priorities in our district improvement plan! GMRSD kicked off a staff wellness and #CommunityofLearners! campaign on January 9th running through February 3, 2023. Each week faculty and staff were encouraged to participate in a range of health and wellness activities. Beyond reminding our staff of taking time to engage in personal wellness, we also fostered a little friendly competition between buildings. The school team with the highest rate of participation for the week was awarded a traveling trophy. In addition, all participants were entered into weekly drawings to receive gift cards.
