Dear Gill Families, Caregivers, and Staff,

The legendary “Pumpkin Head” person came to visit Gill Elementary School this morning. He/she walked around the school and danced, holding a pitchfork, and waving to students. This is a longtime tradition at Gill Elementary and I appreciated getting the heads up, or I likely would have called a lockdown!

Here are some updates to be aware of:

• Parent-Teacher conferences are coming up! This is an opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers and get in person updates on how they are doing as well as learning more about their day. Teachers are reaching out to schedule conferences, and we will provide virtual conferences upon request.
• Please remind your child to dress for outside recess. We will try to get them outside most days, and sometimes they are not dressed for the cooler weather, or their shoes and socks get soaked in the back field.
