Dear Gill Community,

I wanted to make sure you were all in the loop! Sixth Grade Penny Wars begins tomorrow! This fundraiser is an important one to support our students for the end of year trip to Nature’s Classroom. Please see the enclosed flier.

The School Council meets monthly, and I’d like to make the school community aware of this group. The law requires that every school have an established School Council. This group meets with the Principal throughout the year, and provides guidance on budgetary items, School Improvement Plan, and other school-related topics. The upcoming meeting is virtual, and if you’d like to join I welcome you  to contact me at (413)863-7456 or at Lisa.Desjarlais@gmrsd.org if you’d like me to send a meeting link.

With the arrival of recent snow, students have begun to use the sleds on the hill by the blacktop. If your child is planning on sledding for outdoor recess, please have them come prepared with boots, snow pants, and mittens/gloves. Those little  hands get cold fast!
