Happy Friday from Gill Elementary School!

I’d like to start this week’s letter with an expression of gratitude. Earlier in the week, I sent out a communication regarding my being absent off and on during the coming weeks while my family deals with an end-oflife illness. I have been absolutely floored by the expressions of support, offers to help, and condolences that have come my way from the Gill community. While I have not responded to each communication, I hope you all know how much it means to have the support during this tough time, and I wanted to let you all know that I’m feeling the love. Thank you.

We have had a chilly week here, and due to the cold have needed to be indoors for a lot of the recesses. However, we are still hoping to go outside whenever we can, so please continue to send kids with snow gear.

Next Thursday and Friday (3/14 and 3/15) are half days for parent conferences. If you have not yet done so, please contact your child’s teacher to set up a time.
