Dear Hillcrest Families,
Thank you very much for your prompt responses to the Return to School Survey. I have been reviewing this information and using it to finalize the details of our Hybrid Learning Model. The proposed start date for Hybrid Learning is Monday, February 8th. A detailed letter confirming your student’s cohort assignment will be mailed to you next Wednesday, January 27th. This will let us know if you plan to have your student stay remote or attend classes at school in the hybrid model. It also asks if you will be using school bus transportation.

Since the pandemic began, we have greatly expanded our technology holdings, including upgrading our security and monitoring of student Chromebooks. Our district is employing a filtering and monitoring application called GoGuardian on all our student issued Chromebooks. It allows us to filter out inappropriate or unsafe Internet sites and monitor use of our Google domain. We receive reports that warn us of explicit language used, unsafe browsing, or indecent site visits.
