Monthly Math Challenge
Monthly Math Challenge: Math is everywhere…this month’s math challenge is to go on a number hunt with your child. Where can you find numbers? This “hunt” can happen in your very own home or you can take it on the road to the grocery store, doctor's appointment, etc. Can you find numbers in your kitchen, bathroom, car, the bus, on your clothes…when you start looking for them you may notice more numbers than you usually do. If your child finds a number in or on something please send me an email or send a note in your child’s school folder before January 13th. Each student who finds a number will be entered to win their own Crazy 8s card game. Just let me know where your child found numbers! As always, please reach out to me if I can be a math resource for you and your family! Mathematically yours, Ms. Hirst My email is: veronica.hirst@gmrsd.org |
