Dear Hillcrest Families,
Happy November! As we move into this new month, many of us are thinking about an important November tradition -- Parent-Teacher Conferences! Next week, on Thursday, November 7th and Friday, November 8th, we will be holding these essential family meetings. Our teachers invest considerable time and care into preparing for conferences as they want to provide you with a complete picture of your child’s school experience. And, in turn, they are eager to hear from you about your hopes and dreams for your child and they are ready to answer any questions you may have. So, with that in mind, here are some important Parent-Teacher Conference tips:
-
If you are unsure of your conference date or time, please call us here at school. We don’t want you to miss out!
-
Please arrive on time as most teachers have back-to-back meetings scheduled.
-
Don’t be shy about asking questions . . . our teachers are genuinely interested in your input and ideas.
-
Be sure to talk with your child about your meeting. Your child will be so happy to know that you have spent some time talking with their teacher!
-
Spend some time at the Friends of Hillcrest Clothing Swap either before or after your conference. We have received lots of wonderful clothing in sizes just right for Hillcrest students!
