Hillcrest Updates

  • We’re all looking forward to the Friends of Hillcrest Spring Festival this Sunday, May 19th from 11:00 to 2:00 here at school!  This is a free family event and it will take place rain or shine!  See you there!

  • We had a blast at GMRSD Elementary Science Night at Gill Elementary on Thursday night.  Our Hillcrest students are very enthusiastic scientists! 

  • Hillcrest Field Day is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5th from 9:30 - 11:30.  We would love to have some community volunteers to join in the fun. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact our P.E. teacher, Ms. Liz Tyler, at elizabeth.tyler@gmrsd.org.  And, if you have not yet completed the required CORI form for volunteers, please call Mrs. Prokowich in our main office at 863-9526.

  • With baseball season underway, we’ve noticed many families enjoying time on our playgrounds after school hours.  Children and families are always welcome to enjoy the playground after school.  If you are on the playground and you use our sandboxes, please place the cover back when you’re done.  We want to keep our sandbox safe and clear and free of any small critters and their waste. Thank you!

 

Friends of Hillcrest

  • Looking for some HIllcrest gear? Friends of Hillcrest is selling some adorable tee-shirts and totes.  Check out this online store via Silverscreen Design. And a few more ordering details here. 

  • The next Friends of Hillcrest meeting is Thursday, June 6th at 5:30. All Hillcrests community members are welcome to attend.

  • The Montague Public Libraries will soon be launching their amazing summer reading program! This year’s theme is Read, Renew, Repeat. Check out the details here.

  • Here are two more fun events at the Library: EcoMagic on June 15th and Summer Reading Kickoff on June 25th.

Novedades de Hillcrest

  • ¡Todos estamos deseando que llegue el Festival de Primavera de los Amigos de Hillcrest este domingo 19 de Mayo de 11:00 a 2:00 aquí en la escuela!  ¡Este es un evento familiar gratuito y se llevará a cabo llueva o truene!  ¡Nos vemos allí!

  • Tuvimos una gran diversión en la Noche de la Ciencia de GMRSD Elementary en Gill Elementary el Jueves por la noche.  ¡Nuestros estudiantes de Hillcrest son científicos muy entusiastas! 

  • El Día de Campo de Hillcrest está programado para el Miércoles, 5 de Junio de 9:30 - 11:30. Nos encantaría tener algunos voluntarios de la comunidad.  Nos encantaría tener algunos voluntarios de la comunidad para unirse a la diversión. Si desea ser voluntario, por favor póngase en contacto con nuestra maestra de educación física, la Sra. Liz Tyler, en elizabeth.tyler@gmrsd.org. Y, si usted todavía no ha completado la forma requerida CORI para voluntarios, por favor llame a la Sra. Prokowich en nuestra oficina principal al 863-9526.

  • Con la temporada de béisbol en marcha, hemos notado muchas familias disfrutando de tiempo en nuestros patios de recreo después de las horas escolares.  Los niños y las familias son siempre bienvenidos a disfrutar del patio de recreo después de la escuela.  Si usted está en el patio de recreo y utiliza nuestros areneros, por favor coloque la cubierta de nuevo cuando haya terminado.  Queremos mantener nuestro arenero seguro y despejado y libre de cualquier animalito y sus desechos.
