April 30, 2021
Dear Hillcrest Families,
We were happy to welcome everyone back from school vacation week and we were really pleased to have a few more students make the transition from Remote Learning to In-Person Learning as well. While nothing about this school year feels typical, it is always exciting when we can be together! This is the time of year when we begin to think about transitions to the upcoming school year and despite the unusual nature of things, that process has certainly begun! Kindergarten and preschool registration are underway and we’ll soon begin creating new class lists for all grade levels.
Some important news items for the week:
-
Teacher Appreciation Week is next week -- May 3rd through May 7th. Friends of Hillcrest sent a packet to all Hillcrest families with some fun and easy activities for you to do at home. Please return these to school next week so that we can show our teachers how much their students and families appreciate them. Remote Only students are welcome to pick up a Teacher Appreciation Packet at school. Just stop by between 8:00 and 4:00 for your packet.
-
School Picture Day is coming up on Thursday, May 6th. You should have received a school picture order form in your child’s backpack yesterday. If you did not receive a form, please call Mrs. Prokowich in the main office at 413-863-9526. School Picture Day is open to all students (In-Person and Remote Only). Remote Only families should contact Mrs. Prokowich for their picture taking time.
