• This Sunday, May 5, Musica Franklin will be hosting Fun Fest at Sheffield from  12:00-5:00 pm. This is a free event and open to the public.

• Wednesday, May 8 is a half day with a noon dismissal.  The school spirit theme will be “TWIN DAY!”  Students and staff are invited to find a "twin" (or two or three!) and DRESS ALIKE!  Dress in the same outfit, same sports jersey or team shirt, same hairstyle, same colors or patterns, same shoes...just LOOK ALIKE!!  This is an "if you want to"...not a "have-to".  Clothing must be appropriate and in accordance with our school-wide guidelines—no make-up, face paints, hair sprays/dyes, etc. due to chemical/allergy concerns.  No hats!

• Fifth grade will have Math MCAS on Thursday and Friday.

• It’s that time of year again, tick time!  Please check your child for ticks as we have had a confirmed tick sighting on a classroom carpet.

• There is an important events survey coming home with the oldest student in each family today.  We are trying to have a high number of return by offering a Tootsie Roll to each student who brings a survey back to school and you, the parent, are put into a drawing for a gift certificate to The Black Cow.  Your input is important to us, as we begin to plan evening events for next school year.
