Friends of Sheffield:
-
The last meeting of the FOS for the school year was held on Wednesday. I would like to thank these amazing parents and volunteers for their hard work and dedication for the benefit of the students and staff and Sheffield. A special thank you to Leslie Cogswell. Leslie has done so much over the years for both Sheffield and Hillcrest, now the Middle School will be able to welcome her energy there.
MCAS News:
-
The grade 5 MCAS test for Science, Engineering and Technology is all that remains. The test will be administered next Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24 and 25.
-
As always we hope your child will be able to get a good night's sleep prior to testing, have a good breakfast at home or at school, and have you give your encouragement to them to work hard to try their best.
Bring in Your Water Bottles:
-
Please try to have your child come to school with a water bottle. Many are attempting to use small plastic cups at the coolers which have been leaving puddles for Mr.Z to clean up. Thank you in advance for your help.
Fall 2022 Class Lists:
-
As this school year is quickly coming to an end, 23-days as I write, staff will be meeting to create preliminary class lists for the fall. Families will be notified in August who their child's classroom teacher will be. The composition of the classroom may change over the summer as students move in and out of town and our desire to best meet the needs of all students is taken into consideration. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Have a great weekend…stay as cool as you can, it’s going to be a hot one!
