What a wonderful day! THANK YOU SO MUCH FRIENDS OF SHEFFIELD for bringing this incredible field trip to all Sheffield students! Everyone had an incredible day and loved the musical!

A huge shout out to our Sheffield performers! You were all amazing and are so brave and talented! It was so great to see your smiling faces on stage!

Table Talk Conversation Starters

A huge shout out to Ms. Smith and Gabe. They have been working on a cafeteria project to help students have an easier, more successful conversation with their friends at lunchtime. Taped to the cafeteria tables are conversation starters and questions include:

What are 3 wild animals you wish you could have as pets?

What's something you're good at?

Would you rather live on the moon or under the sea?

Hillside Pizza fundraiser

Hello Sheffield Families,

Just a reminder that the Hillside Pizza Fundraiser is ending, and all orders are now due on Monday, January 30, 2023. Hillside Pizza is offering take-and-bake pizzas, cookie dough and gift certificates for purchase.

All items will be available for pickup in the Sheffield parking lot on Wednesday, February 8 from 3-4 pm. Please contact friendsofsheffield@gmail.com to make alternate pickup arrangements. Any items not picked up will be stored in the school's cafeteria/kitchen.

Student Safety - Appropriate Shoes for the School Building

Please make sure that your child has separate school-appropriate shoes. Many students are wearing their snow boots inside. This makes are floors slippery from the water/melted snow. In addition, students struggles with navigating their bulky snowboots on the stairs. I want to prevent anyone falling down them.

Our recent snow days delayed our weekly winners , so this week we pulled two student names per classroom to "purchase a book" from the vending machine. Congratulations!
