Students in Mr. Howes’ class got the chance to have a virtual presentation from Ms. Neeley’s little brother. He gave them a tour of the telescope at UMass Lowell that he works at.

Teacher Appreciation Week: Monday, May 8th - Friday, May 12th
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up and we have a few things planned to show our appreciation for teachers and staff. On Thursday, May 11th we’re planning a breakfast spread that includes a parfait bar. Can you help us with this?
We’ve created an online sign-up sheet with all the breakfast items we are looking for. If you are interested in helping, please sign up here. Pre-packaged items can be dropped off beginning Monday, May 8th. Baked goods should be dropped off the morning of Thursday, May 11th so they stay fresh. Additionally, if you are baking, please provide an ingredient list due to staff allergies. If you don't have time to go shopping, we can do it for you! Our VENMO can be found here (VENMO username: @Friends-Sheffield, CODE: 1180).
Check out our flier for some appreciation week ideas. We’ll be kicking it all off on Sunday, May 7th, when we Chalk the Walk at Sheffield and hope you'll join us! Also, check out our link to Teachers and Staff Favorite Things. Here you’ll find their favorite colors (for Friday’s activity) as well as gift ideas or classroom supplies.

Movie Fundraiser Thanks!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Greenfield Garden Cinemas for our special showing of The Super Mario Bros. Movie on April 15th. It was so fun to be able to watch a movie with our Sheffield Pride. We're hoping to spend the money we earned on one last performance to wrap up the year.
Boon Supply
We've been made aware that there are a couple orders that have not shipped due to fulfillment issues with the Boon Supply warehouse. They are working on resolving this as quickly as possible but they do not have an estimated ship date for those orders yet. If you have any questions, please reach out via email.

Gill-Montague Education Fund (GMEF)
Thank you to everyone that came to the Faithfully - “An Eagles & Journey Experience” performance last Saturday, April 29, 2023 to help raise money for the Gill-Montague Education Fund.
We are grateful for their recent support in helping SES 3rd and 4th graders attend the Pioneer Valley Symphony last month.
