3rd Grade Art with Ms. Castro-Santos
The second module for 3rd Grade in Wit & Wisdom is "Space" and to complement their learning students created drawings of spiral galaxies using chalk pastels. They drew and collaged images of self-portrait astronauts, rocket ships and planets. They also created clay aliens (currently in the kiln) to round out their study of outer space!
Students in Ms. Lapan’s class celebrate Ms. Anderson!
Honoring Black History Month, Ms. Lapan’s class read “When Marion Sings” together on Monday. Attached is a copy of the book with a video of Ms. Anderson singing.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation
March 9 & 10 are Parent/Teacher Conferences and very long days for all of our Sheffield teachers and staff. Let's show them how much we appreciate them, and provide some tasty and nourishing snacks and treats to help power them through the day.
Once again we're looking for pre-packaged foods and drinks as well as plates, cups, napkins and plasticware. Please sign up to donate something from our list which can be found by clicking HERE.

Bingo for Books
Please join Friends of Sheffield for some family fun at our Bingo for Books event in the Sheffield Cafeteria on Friday, March 24th from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. It's free to play and allows winners to choose a new book and other small prizes. We will also have a round of fun bonus prizes that have been donated from area businesses. A HUGE thanks to Nolan Plumbing and HVAC for sponsoring our event!

Calling all bakers, we need your Help! We're hoping you can donate small treats for FOS to sell at our concession stand.
