Could you build a house out of paper?

In Science, Sheffield Second Graders examined how large structures, like houses, are built from small pieces. In the activity, Paper Towers, they designed their own structures using paper! They used index cards and paper clips to build towers strong enough to support a hardcover book!

At Sheffield, our goal is for students to have fresh air and outdoor recess daily. Please make sure that your student is prepared for the classroom with a light jacket/sweatshirt (if they get chilly) and for cold weather outside with coats, hats, mittens/gloves, snowpants, and boots.
