It was brought to my attention that there may be different versions of our school calendar out there. Students have a half day of school with a noon dismissal on December 22nd and do not return to school until Monday, January 3rd.
-
Report cards were sent home today with your child. Please remember this is a standards based report card and it is not expected that your child will master all standards now. Seeing 1’s and 2’s after the unusual last couple of years should not be surprising and is normal.
-
To ensure comfort, students are only allowed to play in the snow with both snow pants and boots. Students who do not have both will be asked to be on the blacktop to ensure they stay dry. We also have a no snowball rule to also ensure student safety. We tell students unless they are rolling snow to make a snowman, snow stays on the ground.
-
Indoor recess may be announced when there is too much ice on the blacktop to ensure student safety.
-
Thanks to all who have donated to our food drive. Next week will be the final week to send donations to school with your student.
