  • Wednesday, December 8 is a half day with a noon dismissal.

  • Are we having snow days this year?  YES!!  The Department of Education is not allowing remote learning days so we will close school due to inclement weather that impacts students/staff safely traveling to school.  These days will need to be made up in June.

  • Please dress your child in layers.  To encourage proper air ventilation to reduce the transmission of the virus, staff have been instructed to continue using their air purifiers as well as cracking a window in the classroom.  With colder temperatures, this will impact the temperature of the classroom, so layers are preferred to ensure your child’s comfort.

  • The VAXBus provided vaccines to over  200 community members this past Monday.  The VAXBus will be returning to Sheffield on Monday, December 20th from 1:30-5:00 if you were unable to attend the earlier event.

  • 6th Annual GMRSD Food Drive: We’re collecting non-perishable food items again this year for the Montague Catholic Social Ministries Food Pantry, and we need your help! The food pantry supports many families in need in our very own community. Items most needed include canned vegetables/fruit/protein, soup, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, oatmeal, instant potatoes, rice, beans, pasta and pasta sauce, juice and snacks. All items may be brought to school or dropped off between Monday, December 6 and Friday, December 17. A box will be stationed near the main office.   Very important reminder! Please check expiration dates as anything expired will need to be thrown away. Let’s work together to replenish the food pantry during this urgent time of need.   • Report cards will be going home with students on Friday, December 10th.
