Principal Newsletter January 17, 2019

Thank you to all the families who came out last night to enjoy our annual Winter Concert and Art Show!  The musicians and singers were amazing! Our students created beautiful artwork that lined our hallways for all to enjoy!  My appreciation to both Ms. King and Ms. Castro-Santos for all their time and dedication to making this a wonderful event!

Tomorrow, January 18 we have an All School Meeting in our auditorium starting at 2:15.  I will be debuting a Youtube video that was created about Sheffield. This video was created for GMRSD by filmmaker Richard Widmer of Lake Film (www.lakefilm.org), who is a parent, teacher, coach, and citizen in our community.  This video will be linked to our website showcasing our amazing students and staff.  If you’d like an early peek here is the new video introducing SES to the world wide web,  https://youtu.be/Dzhl6yC-upU.

There is no school on Monday January 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  

Wednesday, January 23 from 4:30-6:00 pm., come join Musica Franklin for an afternoon of international folk dancing with musical accompaniment by our students.  Join them for the fun and a free community dinner afterwards. This is open to all!

There is no school on Friday January 25 due to Turn Around Day.
