● A huge ‘Thank You!’ to our FOS for another amazing Pumpkin Carving Party! Thank you to all the
volunteers who assisted with this fabulous family event! It was a fun time had by all!
● School picture retakes is Tuesday, October 30th.
● There is a community music night in our cafeteria on Tuesday, October 30 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. All are
welcome to attend.
● Wednesday, October 31st, Halloween, students and staff are invited to wear hats/headbands for
the day. This is NOT a costume or face paint day.
● Nurse Joni will begin to conduct hearing and vision screenings on October 31 starting with second
grade.
● Thursday, November 1 all students will participate in bus evacuation training.
● November 1, for those families who signed the release, this is the first day of dental visits. There is a
second date of November 6 for any students not seen on the first.
● November 1 is a banking day.
● November 1 is an All School Sing starting at 9:00 in our auditorium. All families are welcome and
encouraged to attend.
● Please mark your calendar for parent/teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday, November 8 and
Friday, November 9. Families will not receive report cards at this meeting. They will be mailed out
later before Thanksgiving break.
