  • Nurse Joni is looking for some parent volunteers to assist with distributing fluoride for approximately one hour, one morning a week.   No experience necessary, she’d be happy to teach/train anyone interested in helping. Please contact her at 863-7441 if interested.

  • Tuesday, September 18th, is school picture day.  All students will have a picture taken even if they do not purchase them.  Student pictures are used to create their lunch identification cards.

  • The Friends of Sheffield (FOS) our version of a PTO will be trying something new this year.  They will be meeting at the Rendezvous restaurant in Turners Falls once a month from 6:00-7:15 pm.  They are looking to have this be a more enjoyable evening out each month over food and drink! A great opportunity to socialize together while conducting business for FOS.  Here are the meeting dates this year:  9/19, 10/17, 11/28, 1/16, 2/13, 3/20, 4/24, 5/15.  If you’re unable to attend an evening meeting but have ideas please email them to  friendsofsheffield@gmail.com.  The first FOS sponsored event is our annual Pumpkin Carving party.  Come to Wednesday’s meeting and help us plan this amazing family event.

  • For the safety of the buses and the children on them, if you are picking up your child and driving a car/truck, please DO NOT park along the fence next to the baseball field, please park in a parking space.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

  • When it’s raining, there are a lot of vehicles both in the parking lot and the front, please be careful backing up. Please look twice to ensure other cars or people are out of the way.  Thank you for ensuring everyone is safe.
